Re: Active faults in Vietnam? |
Son La is considerably NW of Hanoi. I am being called to dinner just now. Will return to this board asap. Am most interested in FFA's. Canie, due to the scale, I can't make out those rings going through SE Asia. Can anyone tell me if the rings actually come close to Hanoi? We were thinking of taking the train down to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City for the P.C.). I'm just wondering how stable the whole area is right now. I see Taiwan had a 4.3. That's where we will have two layovers. I know how unstable that is. Don, I don't have time to read that whole article. Is it only about Son La, or does it talk about other active faults, and if so, where. I am scrambling to get ready. Want to save me some time?
