The Human Seismograph

Posted by Antonio Romino on January 24, 2000 at 12:58:16:
I’ m not a seismologist or a geophisicist, in the life I’ m a painter and, of course, I use to observe the nature in a particular way. I live in Naples (Italy) and, after the earthquake of 23/11/1980 I discovered that, as the animals, also the human body was able to feel, before time, throw some receptors, every earthquake and volcanic eruption. Today I know that before every seismic event (also the most little), from the hipocenter, part a signal which strikes the torax zone of the human body. From the intensity of the said signal, one can deduce the magnitudo and from a point on the torax the hipocentral zone, to a certaine extent, in the world. To every point of the human torax corrisponds, in a confused way, a zone o the earth’s crust. This signal that I name “primary precursor” can be translate on a paper and after read as a graphic of a normal seismograph. I think that this “primary precursor” leaves from crust when it gets to limit point of fault of not-return. I suppose that the variation of time that elapses between precursor and earthquakes is given from solidity of the crust. It is important to know that the primary precursor is not alone but it is only the first that avances a succession of other precursors same earthquake relater to. I bag pardon for my bad english but I’ m traing to exsplain this difficult argument as well as possible. This precursors that I name “of confirmation” strike different zones of body and specificy in detail the grade, or if it’ ll be a swarm of earthquake shockes, or volcanic eruption. I can say that I’ m strictly to earth tied, I’ m as a powerful seismograph suitable to feel, before time, also earthquakes to opposite side of the globe. I would like that mine experiences can be of help to research in the field of seismic rediction, and to the purpose I consider myself at mondial research disposal. Prof. Romino Antonio
