I found a report giving travel times across the Indian Ocean for tsunamis from various quakes.....It is a long .pdf...I think it was p.13 that had maps that include a north Sumatra quake...10 hours to Mombassa, 12 to SW South Africa...so, all the major damage from tsunamis should be done...although I recall (but may be wwrong) that the wave train of a tsunami can last a couple of hours. It looks like there may bo no tsunami warning center for the Indian Ocean...if this is true, someone/some country better do something about this!
