I put the coordinates in the distance calculator and it says I am 4.67 miles off from the quake that happened on 12/5 which was my target area. Since I said my area was about 16 miles away from there, I'm still in the neighborhood. LOL (see below)

So let's see how this works out;
a. in the right window
b. within stated magnitude
c. within 5 miles

I would love it if this could happen more often regardless of the music. But Cheryl Crow's "Favorite Mistake" is too good to listen to on low volume.
