Hi Mary, You're right. I threw the question out there to see if other bright minds had an opinion about it. Sometimes discussing topics affords one an expanded outlook and it conjures up other thoughts. For instance, let's suppose commuter traffic was determined to be the cause of so many widely scattered mostly small earthquakes. I wonder if the environmentalists would think we need a new law to ban commuting altogether? Now that is scary and at the same time perhaps a good thing? Imagine no depletion of oil resources and costs per barrel would plummet, or would they? Would less demand increase or decrease the cost? Thoughts and ideas are like feathers in the wind. Though mostly floating along and not remaining stationary very long, the occasional feather lites somewhere and if it lands in the hands of a creative individual, who know what might come of it. How many people asked the question, "does commuter traffic increase earthquakes?" and how many people accepted the call to find the answer?
