What a wonderful man. Obviously he loved his work very much, something that today you don't hear to often. He would have been a joy to spend some time with.

I love getting out in the field and exploring. I think my best field trip was to Mammoth which was primarily hosted by Hill and Bailey. They did an excellent job. Of course it is rich with geology and has a lot of hands on appeal. I doubt there is a more beautiful place on Earth.

One of these days if you ever have any down time in California I'm sure Don, Canie and I would love to meet you in Parkfield and let you loose and see how much you enjoy it.
