I read the VAN articles way back when, and introduced myself to Varotsos at AGU once. But, I was at a meeting in Greece a couple of years ago...at a big university that is not in Athens, but that may have a rivalry with Athens. A Greek seismologist pretty vehemently trashed VAN. But, I forget the details. I forget a lot these days...I think the election caused brain damage.But, I have a lot of company, at least 59 million Americans are also brain damaged.
