Note the small quakes farther south on the San Simeon fault...the San Simeon fault is part of the same fault system as the San Gregorio fault (they carry the same motion and are either the same fault with different names or they are linked). Worth keeping an eye on this. Someone may want to plot out moment release on these faults over time....but I question whether the catalogue that Petra is looking at is complete, or if she is just looking at a small area around where the quakes are happening...I would expect that the larger fault should have quite a few 3s...Chris..worried about the election...Bush has been a real disaster and if re-elected it may only get worse.
