Re: eartone evaluation Not Exactly |
Hi Roger, Imagine this. You are standing in a field and the wind comes up and you hear something and you never heard it before. You feel a movement on your face and your hair moves (depending on how much a person has, not necessarily you) and you say to yourself, "Good Golly, that thing they call wind has a sound. Or at least I think it does, if that's really it! But maybe its not a sound at all?, you ask. It does something to my ears and its not a clear sound like breaking Mommas breakfast dishes, but it seems like it might be a sound. So maybe the wind does make a sound. Anyway, I can't think of what else to call it." Anyone here care to explain what we hear when we hear the wind passing by our heads? Is it a noise? A vibration perceived as a sound? I think we did this one last time and everyone left shaking their heads....LOL Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: eartone evaluation Not Exactly - Roger Hunter 17:56:28 - 10/26/2004 (23461) (1) ● Re: eartone evaluation Not Exactly - Petra 20:58:13 - 10/26/2004 (23465) (1) ● Re: eartone evaluation Not Exactly - Bob Baum 01:28:12 - 10/27/2004 (23472) (0) |
