Everyone north, east, and south of me in Aptos seems to have felt it. I was up, moving about, getting ready for the dentist (ugh). But I felt nothing, and our four dogs acted like it was just another day.

Stupid lay question: We are on top of a knoll at 550' above sea level. Can shock waves travel under a hill and not disturb the hill itself?
