I was just going to make about the same post as Canie but she beat me to it. One of the nodal planes is for left-lateral on an E-W plane...consistent with the motion on the plate boundary there (edge of Carribean plate). If the quake had waited 1 or 2 days, I might have thought it connected to the Hurricane....too far away in my opinion, I think it is a coincidence. But, when Ivan passes near, might be interesting if there is an increase in aftershocks or another large quake. Also....note the M3.7 near Boron California......that would be a good place for a large quake....just a quake (if it holds up), or a foreshock?
