Cathryn A near-miss would suggest KB should adjust the windows, but with time, magnitude, and space to adjust, there are a lot of opportunities for near-misses, and the parameters have already been laid down. This discussion often arises, and there can be no mercy. Look at how far Jim Berkland was gone with a little wriggle-room (I mean his 90%, 80%, and 70% near misses).
