Don, No, I don't think that exactly. There were no structural geologists on the panel, so no one who could understand why studying this might be interesting and important. I've mostly given up writing proposals to the marine geology and geophysics people to acquire data...and will try and write less expensive proposals to the land people (structure/tectonics) to use existing data...with more modest costs...
