Ok Cathryn, you piqued my interest on this one by fluffing up the memory cells. During the 1970's, Dr. J. B. Rhine, paranormal researcher at Duke University wanted to know how much the soul weighed. So they placed a willing subject on a very sensitive scale and as the subject died, they measured the immediate weight loss of the body, thus measuring the weight of the soul. It weighs 2 ounces.

Our U.S. Mortality rate for the year 2001 was 2,416,425 and thus that means that 604,106 pounds of soul traveled someplace. I seriously doubt many of them went south, but believe the majority went out to other better planes.

Of course, I would have had to argue with the premise that hell is hot because if you've ever noticed when people talk about having contact with others from another dimension, they always mention cold spots or cold drafts. Some of them are downright unpleasant and yet no one so far as I know as ever reported a "hot sensation" eminating from them. Perhaps He*l froze over and no one noticed.

Though I agree the person who wrote the report definitely deserved an A.
