There are not all that many 4.6s lately, and 2 of them that close together does not look like a coincidence. I don't know if one triggered the next, or something else triggered both of them....but there have been more since my post and it looks like there was a 4.2 north of the Gulf of California (south of U.S...). So, it seems like something is going on, and probably no one really knows what, so that makes it interesting. But, I wonder if it would be hard to show graphically that what is going on is significant? But still, my gut after 16 years of watching California seismicity is that this is not a coincidence.
