Hi Cathryn, I hate to say this, but it seems that earthquake message boards bring out the stranger side of fictional type characters. My uncle had a nephew named Edgar and he used to Jay walk all of the time and it irritated him to no end. But one day this Spring emerged in his backyard and the kid fell into it and got hurt. My uncle said it was recompense for his Jay walking. Of course now they would call it Karma. What goes around comes around. I have this Indian name given to me by a tribal chief which is kind of cool. He named me She who carries The Glass Light. I told him people would think I was very transparent, but he said it would mean that it would be clear that I could see the light ahead. I told my cousin Ed about it and he laughed like crazy. Now I did make an offer on this board to go sit down in Palm Springs until September 5th because I truly seem to block earthquakes, but I haven't seen any offers to send me there free of charge. I wonder if I should put a feeler out to a newspaper and tell them about my uncanny abilities and see if the locals want to cough up for a little protection and a very much needed vacation for me. It would be kind of neat to sit under a nice umbrella and when people ask me about earthquake prediction and such, I could tell them about those who are like valiant warriors who work so hard to give us a chance and those who work so hard not to. Of course, the only problem with this idea is that I'm an almost virgin and that might not be good enough. Ah well, all in a day. At least they probably wouldn't look at me and say, "Bohica." Way ta go Sistah! Petra
