EM signal data and the RingMap program

Actually, it is not the individual data points that you are seeing in those types of plots but rather where the groups of data points are concentrated. And I personally feel that this is an extremely interesting and potentially valuable way of looking at the data. I also find it to be a little humbling that I didn’t think of plotting the data like that right away myself.

Since there are no other plots available at the moment you can only look at that one. But I have done some other ones myself and it is fascinating how they differ from one another. With that one you have someone who lives in Japan. But a very large number of the data points were for earthquakes which occurred around 70W, from New York City down to the west coast of South America. I am still scratching my head wondering why all of those 70W earthquakes appeared. They do not show up like that with my own data sets.

As I said, this looks like it has some really interesting potential. And I hope that we can get things organized so that those types of data can be plotted using your RingMap program which can superimpose them on continental outlines and fault zone systems. It should be easy to do.

So many interesting projects to work on. So little time.
