A Lot of Latitude

Hi EQF,

We may be able to have a quake here and they usually make me feel euphoric, so I'm going to say something quite nice.

This board offers you more latitude than any other place on the Internet. Even at times when things get a little terse, you have more room to say what you like and I'm sure you're aware of that.

I believe all of us know who you are from hearing about e-mails everyone that we know receive, so its no big secret anymore. But not posting by name means that no one can credit you for anything because you can't give credit to someone without a name. That's unfortunate for you. You see John Vidale has to live up to what he says. He's real, you can pick up the phone and call him and he is accountable for his actions. The same goes for Roger Hunter too. The only person who is letting you down is you. I'm sorry about that.

Personally I don't appreciate your comments to John V. in that they are condescending and he's the one with the verifiable credentials. Therefore, the shoe is on the wrong foot this time.

When it comes to Freedom of Speech you have it and you've always had it. But that's not really the issue. The issue is that you have made a proposal which cannot stand the test and you're unhappy when that is pointed out. Maybe you just need to work on your project a little longer, put yourself in a position to answer honest questions and then these arguments won't be necessary.

I had a look at your site and it makes no sense at all and believe me, I'm no dummy. I would suggest you rework it so it is terribly understandable and that should do it.

Wishing you the best always,

Petra
