Hi Kiddo. I think I need to install some brakes on your bed. The first big quake that comes along could send you rolling across the room towards the windows. The bed hits the wall and you’re catapulted out the window and the wall falls on you.

I can see it all now. You’re in the hospital and a news reporter is asking, “why after all these years of you preaching not to run outside during a quake did you jump out the window?” You think he’s going to believe that you were catapulted out?
