Hi Chris. The area of the “deep tremors” was just a little to the south of Redding, Calif. The quakes we had this morning are more then 100 miles NE of there.

I checked my fault map and all of the faults in the Clear Lake Reservoir area are identified as being quaternary fault, which means they show that there has been some displacement in the last 1.6 million years. The area across the Stateline shows no faults in the State of Oregon, but the faults on the California side stop at the Stateline. In all probability the faults in California continue into Oregon, but I have no idea as to how far. Take Care…Don in creepy town
