Hi Don, Interesting. I'm thinking that the strain increase might be due to static stress caused by the Monday earthquake. There has also been no increase in creep at the SJB creep meter, indicating to me that the increase in tensor strain probably might be "real", and isn't being released by creep. In the past you have been able to come-up with predicted quake locations (i.e off San Andreas, etc.) based on the tensor strain readings. Any ideas on possible locations if the tensor strain is pointing towards an upcoming earthquake? Guess if the strain increase is real it still doesn't necesarily mean that an earthquake is going to happen soon.
