My normal work involves developing specialized testing methods. And what I am doing here is essentially developing testing methods for earthquakes. When and where are they going to occur etc.?

First, Ear Tones involve the use of the human brain. And we would like to use our brains to focus on thinking rather than have them serve as detectors for approaching earthquakes. If you can get a machine to do something for you such as detecting earthquake warning signals then you have more time for thinking.

Second, what I have found and what I believe researchers in China, Greece, Turkey, and elsewhere have found is that electromagnetic type earthquake warning signals (that is what Ear Tones are) are not at this time completely reliable precursors. And if you are dealing with natural disasters such as earthquakes which have the ability to flatten an entire city in the blink of an eye then you would like your precursor signals to be reliable.

It would be nice if our governments and scientists around the world were to take some interest in providing us all with accurate and reliable earthquake forecasts. It is really not that difficult in my opinion. However, that does not appear to be a priority at the moment. And if you are living in some remote area of South America where you are threatened by earthquakes and your only choices are to use Ear Tones and/or Shan’s sunlight based forecasting method to tell you when your village is going to be destroyed by an earthquake then a good rule of thumb is “Any port in the storm.” Use whatever is available. Less than completely reliable warnings are better than no warnings at all.
