Donald-note my wording was careful. I did not say that it is day or night AT the statellite-I said that since they are geostationary, they are above the day or night side of the earth. Read the explanation on the graphs-it explains this.

You talk about credibility-what correlation with big quakes? You have not demonstrated anything, or even why one would want to look for a correlation here. And, who wants to go beyond a few hours for the daily variation in the electron curves? You are the only who is posting about those particular curves (Canie and I have been talking about major events in electron and Kp, respectively).
