While USGS has not posted for 7 Jan, Red Puma has one seismograph that automatically posted a 4.7M in Iran about 04:00 UTC today. There was a similar 4.7M quake there on 6 Jan.

That would suggest a couple of things.
Someone was moving the baseline, as it had been creeping up over a couple of days.
The median line is the dividing point for 5M quakes.

All was not lost for that test.

Periodially I have to risk doing this to remind myself I am NOT a prophet but a scientist. :o)
