Unusual small earthquake in Marin County California

Hello, the following earthquake that occurred in an area that I haven't seen an earthquake in caught my attention on the USGS recent earthquake map: magnitude 2.0 at 1:43 UTC on 12-27-03. Location=12 KM SSW of Dillon Beach(Lat-38.131N Long-122.997W). I did a NEIC catalog search of earthquakes within a 20 kilometer radius of the above earthquake and found a history of only 8 earthquakes in the area, the most recent was back in 1954. The highest listed magnitude in the search was a 4.0 in 1931. I wonder if the 2.0 earthquake on 12-27-03 could have been triggered by the 6.5 San Simeon, CA earthquake on 12-22-03? The location of the 2.0 earthquake is about 2.5 degrees northwest from the 6.5 earthquake and was close to the northwest limit of the felt reports of the 6.5 earthquake.
