Geoforecaster |
I was curious whether Geoforecaster had seen anything coming. Their site had the following: "Officials of the State of California have prohibited geoForecaster from issuing forecasts or commenting on earthquakes that occur within that state, so no comment can be made regarding this event." I'd have to think about whether the state officials are correct to do this or not. But, my first thought is that Geoforecaster should at least be able to make forecasts for California to subscribers-whether there is anything to what they are doing or not. Should the Southern California Earthquake Center be banned from existence because they used a structural model for their first 10 years that failed most of its predictions? (that should get a rise out of John V.....although he is not in that field).
