Hi All,

I've been wondering all day if we could see any effect on the graphs at Parkfield from the San Simeon or other moderate quakes today and the answer is Yes.

The link I'm attaching is for creep. I've ruled out electrical failure by checking the other graphs. The tensor strain graph pretty much mirrors this one, but the others were unaffected, so I believe that rules that out.

So now that we are on this page in geology does that mean at some future date they will say that Parkfields "somewhat routine quakes" were affected by the San Simeon quake and thus its pattern will have deviated once again from normal? Of course, only time will tell.

And NO, I did not get to feel this event. Go figure.
