This is a subjective assessment, as it was definitely felt in San Francisco. Here at SOMA, the building creaked, and motion was detected. We are in a bad area, so ground composition is probably a factor.

An interesting thought that I had was determining rough epicenter by the felt reports. For areas right near the epicenter, very few reports, (because of priorities like dealing with fires, broken glass, etc....) with lots of reports around the edges and # of felt's declining as one moves further away. I know it's flawed, because of the number of people living in an urban area, but still interesting to me..
