Hi Don & All,

You are indeed a cowboy. You ride ole Reno out into the wilderness and shoot small animals. Little bitty ground squirrels. Those cute little things.

While there are nature places, most of them come in the form of National Parks which one has to share with thousands of people during a summer vacation. A city within the park then exists. But one little tiny burg that is a town which offers the same peacefulness and is there to enjoy is Parkfield. It is marvelously quiet at night, you can still take a walk and see no one and find rest while only feet away from the SAF.

Most people that go once will return over and over again. It has a magical draw for people.
