The Russians have been very active in magnetic studies too, over the years. I am not acquainted with any particular studies or summaries relating to geomagnetic phenomena.

Did you note the 6.8M quake today, which is the date of the apogee of the moon, which is also coupled with the full moon.

I would think this board is a place to prove theories in an ongoing fashion, especially since circumstances do change from time to time, like the coincidence of the perigee and apogee with the full and new moon phases.
