You were running the 26 largest flares by your catalogue of all M5+s for the last 30 years or so. That should be done for the catalogue with aftershocks removed, as John suggested.....
looks like the old sunspots are back and we just had an X1 flare and are in the middle of a "major" geomagnetic storm. We really need to be correlating magnetic storms, not flares, with seismicity. Chris
