proton storms vs electron storms |
EQF, it bothers me a little when things posted on the board are accepted as fact when they have not been demonstrated. Also, in science be careful to credit the ideas you are using-these ideas probably originated from Lowell Whiteside. It has been stated here that proton storms suppress earthquakes. And, during the early stages of the last proton storm California did seem quiet, and I think this happened another time. But, this needs to be looked at scientifically, and not talked about like it is a fact....you could say...Lowell proposes that.... We already have a list of solar flares. I think we need to find a list of magentic storms at ground-say, sorted by hours at Kp9 and above, hours at Kp8 and above, hours at Kp7 and above.....We can probably find this, but I did not find it on a brief internet hunt. I don't know if it is useful to know what your international contacts are doing. What would be interesting is a list of published references with useful data. But, I'm already spending way too much time on this.
