The Kp index of geomagnetic storm is at its highest level, and NOAA calls this an extreme magnetic storm. The aurora satellite image shows it pushing towards the northeast and midwest, but I don't know if it needs to be farther south to see anything here...and its raining anyway, and its morning anyway....it will be interesting to see how long this extreme level lasts.
