2 more X1 flares today+proton event

There were two X1 flares today, and just now there is a big jump in proton flux. The Kp is low, but may not stay that way... no sign of unusual quake activity in California yet (IMHO)-and the global NEIC-USGS page does not keep up over the weekend....Chris
