John, I am not certain if this is the case. But I am guessing that you are the only person posting notes here who knows enough about the history of geophysics research to be able to understand some of the technical material that I am discussing and then say that this or that has been done in the past. The information that I am posting in response to your notes is intended in part to let you know where this research stands. And the expectation is that you would consider the material and then comment on it. For example, in response to my note regarding Earth wobble you might have stated that some papers discussing this subject matter were published back around 1970. I myself have seen a few titles but not the actual content of the papers. If you are not familiar with the subject matter or do not have time to discuss it then that is understandable. But I cannot see how it is being helpful if you simply criticize the material without actually saying anything along technical lines.
