Thanks Don for the graph. I haven't been to Parkfield in probably 6 years. Think I'll try to get down there for a visit soon.
Also for the rock hound types there an area off of HWy 25 up closer to the Coalinga turn-off that I have collected landscaping boulders of beautiful serpentine and non-gem quality jade.
I'll try posting that site when I get a chance. But be warned- the rock hounding area is either very muddy in the winter or covered with asbestos containing dust in the summer. I go in the winter and deal with mud. steve s.
