Hi Steve. Welcome to the zoo. Your predictions are interesting. Particularly the one for the Hayward fault. That segment is felt to be the least likely to have a large quake based on the amount of creep that is being seen in the area. Of course this doesn’t rule out the possibility of one in the magnitude range your predicting, but does kind of lower the probability. The area you picked for the San Andreas fault is a good one. A very good one as a matter of fact. I would be more inclined to go as far south as Portola Valley, but anywhere along that segment of the fault would be a likely candidate. Petra does indeed love to feel quakes. All I can say is that she is weird. I mean really weird. She was disappointed with the M>4.1 we had a couple of weeks ago because it didn’t shake harder then what it did. There are times I think she may have been dropped on her head when she was born.
