John, What I have perceived that Earth is not a perfect sphere in shape and its concave in poles and bulged in equator. For easy reference for imagination, its look likes an orange. At the same time earth is influenced by internal as well as external forces so that movement in platetectonic is takes place and subsequently this movement transferred to earth's crust. On the other hand earth wobbling is also occurred due to its self-rotation. The net result is continuous movement on earth's crust like earthworm, takes place in large scale which we do not identified since if we are in a moving train and we cannot feel the movement inside the train. At the same time sun light is intersect this movement every second and the changes can be able to register in a smooth wall. Hence I am checking every day 'pulse' of the earth with sunlight 'stethoscope'. I would like to give another example that in a cini projector every movement in film is enlarged by a lens and enjoy the film in the large screen. Here it is in the reverse process. That's all! Sorry EQF, I am unable to compete with your imagination! Shan 18th June 2003
