What does the new wave chart technology actually do?

I am hoping that the new wave chart technology will help with at least three things:

(1) When a powerful and destructive earthquakes occurs, researchers can mark its time on one of the wave charts. They can then draw additional time lines at the same locations on waves for future months. That will then provide them with some idea regarding the times when the probability is higher that a destructive aftershock will occur.

As the following chart shows, this actually works for some aftershocks.

If this technology were available back in 1998 and 1999 and this were done then the wave charts would have accurately identified the times when those destructive aftershocks were likely to occur in both Afghanistan and Turkey. I am presently checking my data for additional earthquake pairs like that. And it appears that the two destructive 1999 earthquakes in El Salvador also fit that pattern.

Researchers might feel that if only some destructive aftershock occurrence times can be identified like that then the procedure is not valuable. But they need to consider the fact that something like 6000 people reportedly lost their lives as a result of those two destructive aftershocks. And if that type of procedure can be just used to occasionally save 1000 or even only 100 lives then it has to be regarded as being valuable.

Facts: On May 26, 2003 there was a powerful and destructive earthquake in the Japan area. On May 14 I myself circulated a formal warning for one in that area.

Question: Will there be any destructive aftershocks for that earthquake?

Question: If so then when will they occur?

Possible Answer: Perhaps those wave charts would be helpful for determining that.

(2) As with the earthquake aftershocks, time lines drawn on the charts when certain types of earthquake precursors are detected will indicate when the probability is higher for the expected earthquake to occur. I myself was successful with using that procedure to determine that a powerful and destructive earthquake might occur around the middle of May.

(3) It presently appears to me that earthquakes are being triggered by combinations of forces and phenomena associated with the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon and environmental factors such as a fault zone's north - south or east - west orientation. I believe that the wave chart technology should provide earthquake researchers with a powerful tool for investigating those relationships.

Where Things Stand

The resources presently available at my Web site make that technology easy to use. There are wave charts there which people can print, wave chart source data which they can load into spreadsheets or use with Basic programs etc. in order to create their own wave charts, and instructions for how to do those types of things.
