I saw that documentary, Earthquake Storms, and thought it well-done/interesting. I knew about the North Anatolian fault cascade, but they also talked about some other quake relations that I had not heard about, and were interesting. Unfortunately, I can't remember what they were. I just found out that a group of us are to be funded by NSF to study the North Anatolia fault near Istanbul. I'm not lead on this, but it will keep me going. My proposals on California were rejected. So, I'll be working more on Antarctic and Turkey faults than on California faults for the next year or more.
