Petra-I think you mean that the Pacific was sub-solar at the time of the flares. When you say more density in AK, do you mean the Aurora was stronger there? I also don't understand why any particular area is perfect to be sub-solar. I'm withholding judgement whether subsolar means anything. But, areas that have magentic storms at the ground mightg mean something...Chris
