Roger-yes, that follows that delayed earthquakes would be bigger. But, first someone has to look into whether the quakes are really being delayed (whether there is a pressure change at greater depth, and whether areas near oil fields were previously active and are not now. I do know that there were a lot of quakes in the Channel during the 60s.... Chris
