Plots I've seen show the peak velocity (a proxy for energy) from the Denali event are similar across most of the middle of the US, where the shaking is a bit stronger than the west Coast. So they don't show the motions picking up at a particular distance. Again, the peak motions are surface waves, not P body waves.
