Denali distribution of strong motions

Canie, Plots I've seen show the peak velocity (a proxy for energy) from the Denali event are similar across most of the middle of the US, where the shaking is a bit stronger than the west Coast. So they don't show the motions picking up at a particular distance. Again, the peak motions are surface waves, not P body waves. John
