Hi All. The little M>3.8 we had at 4.48PM 05/22/2003 had been forecasted by geoForecasters for 05/23/2003. They forecasted a quake with a magnitude of M>2.5 to M>4.0. This quake was 19.9 miles from their forecasted epicenter. And yes Petra. I did feel it so eat your heart out. However you’re not going to get any Wahooooos out of me.

The “first motion mechanism” indicates that it was a strike slip with normal faulting component so I’m not sure if it was on the San Andreas Fault or on one of the faults that parallel the San Andreas Fault in that area. Take Care…Don in creepy, but sometimes shaky town
