I received good news today. The water heater bill has now passed through the Appropriations Committee and is now headed for a vote on the Assembly floor. It is expected to pass.

However, it may get more difficult when it reaches the Senate, so I would like to ask any California's who may be motivated to please send an e-mail to your Senate representative in support of AB1576.

This issue touches the lives of 5.2 million persons who reside in rental units and today have no voice in their own safety. So if you can give the gift that counts in your voice in support, it can make the difference in their lives.
