I trotted out and bought the NY Times. Lowell and GeoForecaster are highlighted, and John V. is mentioned. For those of you who don't want to register for the times: It is a pretty balanced report. I was interested that Roger Bilham, Lowell's thesis advisor, seems convinced with some aspect of Lowell's thesis (he better be, he signed off on it). I think he is talking about FFAs, but I'm not certain. Lowell is calling for a quake at Mammoth Lakes on May 15 ("enough to rattle dishes"), and "small temblors today in the Northern Panhandle of Texas and on Thursday in northeastern Ohio". Chris
