Total Lunar Eclipse-path not like solar

Canie, a lunar eclipse is the same everywhere-you see it if the moon is visible (if it is night). It is different than a solar eclipse, where there is a narrow path of totality. So, you may have to rephrase-but, do you expect earthquakes directly below the moon (where it is directly overhead at totality?). Or, might it be more like 90 deg away from that. Or, the tidal effects might be similar on the opposite side of the earth. And, the tidal effects might not be larger during an eclipse: they would be larger when the moon is closest to the earth, during a new or full moon. Chris
