I see I missed answering one of your questions. In regard to the water heater legislation, there is a post down the way about our trip to Sacramento.

There is a process to this so it will be awhile before we know the outcome. First the bill has to make it through the Assembly and I'm not sure what kind of support there is with each committee so it would be difficult to know if this has any chance of becoming law.

However, even if it doesn't, along the way some people will become enlighted as to this issue and so it becomes like a ripple on a pond. It does has a benefit no matter how small.
