Moving fulcrum earthquake triggering theory

People examining the charts that I have begun storing at my Web site might wonder if it is possible to make any sense of all of those waves. Can we actually tell from them how earthquakes are being triggered?

The following is a “Moving fulcrum” earthquake triggering theory which I am presently considering:

Various forces such as the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon add together and focus in a certain manner at some location beneath the surface of the Earth. That location can be thought of as a “fulcrum point” which is constantly traveling towards the west. Sections of the Earth’s crust on either side of that fulcrum point are subject to opposing forces. And those opposing forces can trigger earthquakes in fault zones which have accumulated enough strain energy that they are getting close to fracturing on their own.
