And Popo Blows

Hi All, I has been one interesting afternoon watching the skies above Popo volcano as this eruption is in progress. Checking in at 1:56PM PDT there had just been a C3.5 Flare appearing Between Mexico and Hawaii and it was only moments before when Popo began this eruption phase. From minute to minute the skies changed from eruptions on the North slope to the South and everything in-between. It is not one continue eruption, but many occuring minutes apart. It is an interesting sight to see the ash fall from the clouds around the mountain, with the skies changing from brief moments of sunlight to total darkness. Yesterday I saw a much more minor eruption where all of the clouds were glowing pink. There were 2 C class flares crossing central Mexico and at 12:57PM PDT a C2 flare hit the area just along the coastline of Mexico. However, this was really shorted lived, but very pastoral in color.
